  some of you know that we live way out in the country, deep in the woods of northern mn.

  one of the great things out here is the abundant wildlife that we see everyday.

  last week we had a huge porcupine in the yard (which our four year old calls a hamster.....lol).

  Hello Scootergirl,

  Great Pics. I especially liked the "Rose Breasted Grosbeck". We have had two pairs of them in our yard here in Florida.

  I've been birding for over 25 years and all over the country. The best sighting I ever had was in Montana just off Logans Pass. I was in an Alpine Meadow, looked up and way up there, I spotted two Golden Eagles. They circled and circled each other then they came together.

  With bodies close they fell together like a rock. About 50 feet from meadow they broke and soared in opposite directions. I've studied how they mate, but to witness it first hand brought me to my knees. I wept in joy.

  She wanted to go on a "Second Honeymoon". I told her I would do so under one condition...

  i saw my family this past weekend while visiting my home state for a few days.

  its almost comical at this point how terrified my own siblings are of me.

  like they cant even look me in the eye when they talk ....its so sad.

  Hi Flower,

  The worst part of it all is the fact they are afraid of you due to the mind domination of the borg. Sad, but true. I felt "inferior" to my siblings for many years because I was caught up into what the borg taught me. Not any more!

  Currently, my sibling dubs are afraid of me and the "real truth" and I like it that way. It's the power of knowledge many do not comprehend. I will endevour to persevere through the conflict. I will not win the fight , however I will stand my ground.

  perhaps you have already caught the travelling bug and already seen many exciting new places, new, strange to you cultures and experienced the life on the road, on a minimal budget.. can you tell us where you would like to go, where you have been and any stories about your travels?

  Well, Celtic,

  I have been a resident of the following States:

  Illinois (twice) , Kentucky (three times), Ohio, Califonia (three times), Iowa, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, Indiana, Florida (three times) and found I wanted to reside in Florida.

  I backpacked in North Carolina for years. I used to hire a boat at Fontana Lake Dock to take me to trout streams in "The Smokies" and would stay for a weeks at a time. My favorate place in this country to backpack, flyfish and bird watch is Glacier Park, Montana. The spectible I seen before me at the park made me feel smaller than an ant. I caught and released more trout there than I did in Alaska.

  Bad Stuff you did in High School

  for those of you who weren't good jws, or weren't raised in the troof, what kind of bad things did you do in high school?.

  one thing that i did sticks out in my mind above all the crap i did.

  there was this one kid who was marked as the loser.

  The most fun I had in High School, being devious, was in the auditorium. The setting was like a movie theater with sloped seating leading down to the stage on a concrete floor with metal chairs attached. I was assigned to "study hall" there.

  I would take a few marbles into the room on the back row and balance a marble on the leg of the seat in front of me, then open my study book. I would then take my foot and ease the marble loose. You could here the marble gain speed as it approched the stage. When it started to ricochet off the metal seats, it sounded like a pin ball machine. I would wait a few minutes and let another one go.

  Everyone was laughing so I never got caught, however the teachers were totally upset.

  Mission accomplished!

  Ok, I'll byte on this one,

  1. I fell prey to the borg at age 5, 1956, when my "over- zealuos" mother got a knock on the door from a dub.
  2. I was baptized at age 8, Mom told me I could go swimming in a big swimming pool at an Assembly in Columbus, Ohio and as I was dog-paddling around in the pool having a great time and minding my own business when a big guy grabbed me and slammed me under the water and to tell you the truth I didn't know what was going on.
  3. I was very upset when he (the big guy) told me to get out of the pool.
